Since the beginning of 2003 “Gusto Mundial Balearides”, formed by Katja Wöhr and Robert Chaves, have been pioneers in the production of Flor de Sal in Spain.
Hand-harvesting to create a totally natural, pure “flower of salt”, they teamed up with Michelin Starred Chef Marc Fosh to develop a unique line of flavoured gourmet salts including black olives, hibiscus and Mediterranean herbs.


Marc has also created some truly inspiring dishes that incorporate these wonderful salts in his cooking.
This remarkable product has been enthusiastically received by top chefs and International press throughout the whole of Spain and Europe. Today Flor de Sal d’es Trenc is recognised as one of the best Gourmet Salts worldwide and is extensively available throughout Canada, USA and over 7 European countries.
